Welcome back to this weeks blog post! In this week post I will be making my mood board for my fashion magazine. This mood board will basically act as an inspiration board for the types of magazines I will be trying to recreate and what elements and items I will be using in order to do so. The mood board includes different types of magazines, models, clothing, shoes, glasses, and more. These are all my favorite types of fashion pieces and will be what I use to make my own magazine.  Welcome back to this weeks blog! So  In this weeks blog I will be deciding which genre or topic I will be choosing for my final magazine project for my Media Studies class at school. After lots of research and reviewing lots of magazines and the different genres of them I have finally made a decision on my genre..... FASHION. From looking at my previous blogs you might have guessed that a i would use this genre because I included fashion magazines in most of my examples. So yes my magazine will be based on fashion, specifically modern day fashion in todays day. I choose this genre because it is very important to me. Fashion is a form of expression for people to express themselves in their own style and own it. The way a person dresses has a lot to say about the persons feelings, personality, composure and more. I like this topic because I am the type of person who believes strongly on expressing myself and voicing my opinions and feeling free to do, say, act, and dress however I feel.

Hello bloggers, I am back with this weeks new blog!                                             In this blog post we will be going into more depth with the double page spread from a magazine. In the previous blog where I broke down the components that were included in the double page spread in a fashion magazine, I gave a brief explanation of what was on the double page spread. In this blog I will go in greater detail to explain what really makes up a double page spread in a magazine.                        To begin with a double page spread in a magazine is basically known as an article that takes up two pages and includes photographs and writing based on a specific topic. It is know as the two pages in a magazine that are in the center and normally feature the main cover person from the front cover of the magazine. Hey guys, we are back with another blog for this weeks blog.  In this weeks blog we will be reviewing and going in more depth with the table of contents for the fashion magazine. In the previous blogs we were working on the breakdowns of what are included in the Table of Contents for magazines. In this weeks I will review them in more detail and really go in depth to explain what they consist of and how they are constructed and put inside of magazines. To begin with, the purpose of a table of contents in magazines and other scriptures in general are included to help readers find their way in the magazine or other document that they are reviewing. People also use the table of contents in order what part or area in the magazine they should read or look at. Now on to the table of contents above, they are normally positioned in different ways depending on the magazine or article you are viewing but right now we will be unpacking the layout of this table of contents in specific. Good morning blog, we are back with a new blog this week!      In this weeks blogpost we will be going over an example of a cover page from a fashion magazine. In my previous blogs this was included and done with one of the cover pages, but in this weeks blog we will be debriefing it and going in great depth and detail with the cover page and what it involves. On the top is the breakdown of the cover page for the fashion magazine we see above To begin with the first thing and main focus on all or most magazines is known as the masthead. The masthead is like the title or big writing on the cover page of a magazine. In this article particularly the mast head is in white and the models head is in front of the mast head. In other magazine the masthead will be in front of the models head or vise versa. Now next the issue and date of the article will normally be on the bottom right of the magazine as that is where the page number almost always goes in a piece of writing. On to the next thing

Hello Guys, we are back with a new blog this week :)  In this weeks blog post I will be discussing and doing research on fashion magazines in order to choose which content will be featured my final product magazine. Women's Modern Day Fashion: Model is wearing current day fashion clothes which scopes out her body figure to seem sexy and attractive to the public eye. The model is color combination through her whole outfit keeping it sublet but not boring at all Model keeps a straight face ahead making no movement and keeping a slanted posture showing off her nice body and figure  Model is looking straight into the camera The magazine has a beautiful color scheme of neutrals and subtle pinks which keeps the theme subtle and gives the same emotions and impressions the whole time. Fashion sense back in the day began to make a social standard as to creating classes. Hello viewers, this week we are back with another blog! This weeks blog is going to be a bit more informational than usual, but we will be discussing the fun topic of the History of Magazine. In our Media Studies class we have discussed our Magazines, but before we begin to construct them we first need to familiarize ourselves with the history of magazines and their origin. In this blog post I will be discussing the history of fashion magazines at where it all began! To begin with magazines first began from the printing press which led to making it easier to withhold printed information on. In the 1700 and 1800 self expression and liberty were what led to fashion and the illustration of it on magazines. During the hardest days in industrialization, this led to many escaping their reality and discovering different things about their interests and wants. This made magazines boom and sell out as they were accessible to everyone and they were the hot item at the time. From this point and o
