Hello Guys, we are back with a new blog this week :)


 In this weeks blog post I will be discussing and doing research on fashion magazines in order to choose which content will be featured my final product magazine.



Women's Modern Day Fashion:

  • Model is wearing current day fashion clothes which scopes out her body figure to seem sexy and attractive to the public eye. The model is color combination through her whole outfit keeping it sublet but not boring at all
  • Model keeps a straight face ahead making no movement and keeping a slanted posture showing off her nice body and figure 
  • Model is looking straight into the camera
  • The magazine has a beautiful color scheme of neutrals and subtle pinks which keeps the theme subtle and gives the same emotions and impressions the whole time.
  • Same colored masthead title that goes along with the rest of the magazines color setting not taking focus off of the main person on the cover.
  • Model is somewhat centered in the middle of the cover in a slanted posture not directly straight in the middle



Gender Neutral Fashion:



Harry Styles combats toxic masculinity – High Tide

  • Model is wearing a dress and a suit jacket all together which gives off the gender betray styles portrayed in this magazine cover. It normalizes using whatever clothes you want to wear no matter the gender you are
  • It has a vibrant colorful background as the main colors in the outfit and title are black and white only 
  • Model has no actual facial expression as he is bluing into a ballon with his hand on the ballon 
  • Half of the models body is revealed in the image at the moment



Men Modern Day Fashion:

  • Almost full body shot up to the legs only depiction facial and leg expression in the current picture
  • The color theme is basic just using colors black and white. Model had a black outfit on while background is white and title is black while the small subheading in the bottom middle is white as well.
  • Model portrays a serious composure and face staring straight into the camera mans face and showing no other expression.
  • Model is standing right in the middle of the frame of the magazine

Student Feature Story Practice

Hey guys, Welcome back to this weeks blog! In this weeks blog post you guys will be seeing my take on a feature writing. As we discussed in previous blogs, the feature writing is crucial to the process of my final magazine product. It is important to the production part of my magazine.  Greetings my supporters, thank you for tuning back into this week's blog! This week's blog is going to be a continuation of our previously discussed topic which was known as Mise-en-scene. I will go in more detail with the specific parts that make up the mise-en-scene topic as a whole.
