Camera Shots pt. 2

Today we are back again with our famous Camera Shots!

This blog will consist of the continuation of Camera shots as demonstrated in the last blog post. As mentioned before, in our Media Studies class we learned about the importance of camera shots and how they are used in many films and movies that we all like to watch. Listed below will be the remaining camera shots.

-Wide Shot

-Two-Shot

-POV Shot

-Over the shoulder Shot

Stay tuned for the last of the Camera Shots that I learned about and captured.

Wide-shot

A wide-shot angle is known to be a shot that has a big horizontal plane to it and has greater depth included in the scene.

Two-Shot

A two-shot is known to be a shot in which two characters are included in the frame of the scene.

POV Shot

A POV shot is known to be a shot that is meant to portray what a character is seeing in a specific scene. This makes the audience put themselves in the same position as the character, which lets them experience the same types of emotions at the same time.

Over the shoulder Shot

The over-the-shoulder shot means basically the same as its title means, it's known as a popular shot used in films, in which a character is shot behind the shoulder of another character. It is used to capture the reactions of the characters throughout the conversation.

To conclude this weeks blog, as a class we all learned about Camera Shots importance in films and movies. We took pictures individually and learned each and every one of their importance. With this, we created blogs and incorporated our take on Camera Shots and Angles and their meanings to portray our understanding of each one.

Until the next blog post, hope you guys enjoyed my pictures and explanations on each shot!

Genre Decision

Welcome back to this weeks blog! So  In this weeks blog I will be deciding which genre or topic I will be choosing for my final magazine project for my Media Studies class at school. After lots of research and reviewing lots of magazines and the different genres of them I have finally made a decision on my genre..... FASHION. From looking at my previous blogs you might have guessed that a i would use this genre because I included fashion magazines in most of my examples. So yes my magazine will be based on fashion, specifically modern day fashion in todays day. I choose this genre because it is very important to me. Fashion is a form of expression for people to express themselves in their own style and own it. The way a person dresses has a lot to say about the persons feelings, personality, composure and more. I like this topic because I am the type of person who believes strongly on expressing myself and voicing my opinions and feeling free to do, say, act, and dress howeve...
