In this weeks week blog we will be doing some research on the different magazine genres and showering their different types of conventions.

Women's Fashion Magazines

Conventions on Women's Fashion Magazines:

• Focused on women's fashion in different seasons, places, and with different make up and layouts in each magazine
• Lettering and writing attracts audiences from various ages as it is informal but also formal at the same time
• Giving advice on how to dress, look, what to wear, how to look hot, new trends and many topics that attract mostly women in todays day in age
• Tone and mood is uplifting, energetic, inclusive and more joyful and fun to enjoy and look at

Teen Fashion Magazines

Convention on Teen Fashion Magazines:

• Include topics such as music, fashion, new looks, beauty school, advice and more. Includes fall fashion, spring fashion, and  hot fashion.
• Really bright lighting and settings used on the image covers to give it a fun and bright look to capture teens attention.
• Most shots are mid shots which focus more on the face and individual look of each of these famous artists face, outfits and appearances.
• The masthead titles are bold and big still, also bright to catch teens attention. Theres is color coordination in the pictures which matches the styles of the models in the front page of the magazines.
