In this weeks blog we will be discussing house styles. We will be doing our own research on them explaining what they are, where they came from, how they developed, what their sole purpose is and why they are important and influential today and all of that good stuff.
The basics of house styles is that it a term used when it comes to printed materials that are coming from a specific source like a publishing house, commercial company, government, and more. These organization use this in order to have a ruling when it comes to their style and usage in writing and printing such articles. This house to do with the specific writing and composure style used, the way they speak and pronounciate such things. The house styles have to do with the way the writer in the certain scenario is writing his piece. It has to do with the the stylist elements they will bee using in things like the heading, title, subtitles and the writing in general. The house style has everything to do with the colors used, the type of font used, margins used, the graphics, logos, the size of how big everything is worded and which tones and mood the author is trying to set in the writing at the time.
All of these elements are crucial in magazines and are the elements that make things like magazines and newspapers sell out. They separate the differences within everyones piece of writing and differentiates the styles and techniques used in everyone individual pieces. Every magazine has their own unique styles and they are each viewed differently by the individual which is why ones are more famous than the others and sell out more.They give each label their own stamp and name.
Each house styles is differentiated in their own category's and take their own lead and showing their readers and viewers which topic they are decomposing in their individual pieces of writing and such. Write away those who buy specific articles know what what they are viewing and the things that's they always run to already.
When composing my magazine I know now the importance of house styles and that they need to be incorporated into my writing and overall product in the end. To give it its own look and appearance with ought looking like other magazines. I will create my own unique cover and everything else. I will grab my own audience and people to admire my magazine for its uniqueness from anything they have already seen in the past, which is the overall goal.
