Grade: Senior
Age: 17

1.

1. Can you guys introduce yourselves? (Name and Age)

- Hello, My name is De’Marcus Strong. I am 17 years old!

2. Do you guys like fashion and why?

- Yes, I absolutely love fashion

3. What has bought you to fashion?

- Well fashion is a self-expression lifestyle for me. I get the opportunity to feel confident in the things I wear and embrace my overall character in life from the clothing to accessories.

4. When did ur interest in it begin?

- My interest in fashion began when I first started looking into modeling and watching famous fashion icons.

5. What type of fashion do you consider to be the type you wear? Why?

- I would say my style of fashion is very diverse. one moment I want to wear a nice street causal wear then i’ll switch it up and take a gothic route or I may even pull out a few vintage pieces. I can also rock a cool feminine kind of wear , I would say it all depends on my mood and the theme of the event or the surrounding area I am going to.

6. Do you have any role model in fashion that you look up to?

- Yes I definitely have a couple of fashion icons that I look up too. Like ASAP Rocky, Little Uzi Vert, Audrey Hepburn, Rihanna and many more.

7. Where do you normally get your clothes from?

- I normally get clothes from H&M, Zara, Goodwill and some places online.

8.     What type of trendy clothing outfits have you put together or worn before?

- The sweater and white dress shirt with the Y2k hat trend was one that I’ve worn before. Along with the baggy jeans look and I also had an era where I was wearing Dr.Marten loafers.

9. What is some fashion advice you’d give to others?

- Definitely to rock what makes you happy and allows you to find your self in the fashion industry, and to have fun with the clothing you wear even if it’s for another gender. Rock what’s comfortable to you, fashion can be any hence of clothing. Trying different colors on your skin tone is also a piece of advice I would give to a person. Remember to always accessorize and plan your outfit sketching is a good way to see your ideas.

10. What advice do you give to those who struggle with fashion or their sense of style?

-Some advice id give to those struggling with their fashion style and image is to embrace who they are. There is no right or wrong in fashion, I would say to be your true self and rock whatever you feel like wearing, there are trends and ideal fashion senses out there in society but that doesn’t mean you can’t have your own style. As long as you embrace your true self and image through your clothing that’s what makes each one’s fashion individual and beautiful.

Student Feature Story Practice

As we discussed in previous blogs, the feature writing is crucial to the process of my final magazine product. It is important to the production part of my magazine. I performed an interview during class with a classmate and from there was able to compose my feature story from that. A feature story is basically a piece of writing based on some type of news or information and it covers one main topic throughout. Who’s is Kelis Waye: A Glimpse Into an Outstanding Highschool Student Kelis Waye, a junior in highschool.  Greetings my supporters, thank you for tuning back into this week's blog! This week's blog is going to be a continuation of our previously discussed topic which was known as Mise-en-scene. I will go in more detail with the specific parts that make up the mise-en-scene topic as a whole. Production Design This is known to be the what the designing produces main job is, which is to set the visual aspect to the viewer's eye. This is all incorporated to shows, films, movies, clips, all other productions composed by directors. They focus on the main details that go within the sets, location, materials, props, objects, wardrobe, lighting camera shots and angles as well as all the photographs included. Location: This is known as the set place in which a scene is shot in to take place in a specific area of the scene. The location is used to set the right tone and mood for whatever is going to occur in the scene specifically. An example of this would be if a wedding is about to take...
